WhatsApp is Working on a New Report Status Update Feature
WhatsApp already has a feature to report messages and contacts to WhatsApp if you feel it is not suitable for you. When a user reports a contact, the last 5 messages of the conversation are sent to WhatsApp. They can also choose to report certain messages on WhatsApp that are not suitable for them.
As you can see in the given image, users can report status updates in the new menu in the status section. You will be able to report this status update if a user violates the Terms of Service. The status update will be sent to WhatsApp for moderation reasons so they can see if a violation has occurred, as is the case with reporting messages on WhatsApp.
