The camp will be held from March 25 to April 8.

In the next day or two, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to unveil the roster of players slated to participate in a fitness camp scheduled for later this month in Kakul.

Scheduled from March 25 to April 8, the camp will serve as a crucial training ground for Pakistan’s imminent home T20I series against New Zealand, facilitating the team’s preparations for the upcoming fixtures.

There’s a high probability that standout performers from the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine will receive invitations to join the camp as well, ensuring that the cream of the crop contributes to the preparatory sessions.

It’s worth mentioning that New Zealand is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on April 14 for the highly anticipated series, marking the beginning of what promises to be an eagerly awaited cricketing event.

Following their arrival, the two teams are set to engage in a series of three T20Is at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi, scheduled for April 18, 20, and 21. Subsequently, they will transition to Lahore, where the series will continue with the remaining two T20Is on April 25 and 27, respectively.

“We are pleased to unveil the itinerary for the New Zealand men’s team tour to Pakistan 2024, which underscores the strong bond and cooperation between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and New Zealand Cricket (NZC),” expressed Usman Wahla, Director of International Cricket, in a statement released by the PCB earlier this week.

“This tour exemplifies the longstanding connections and reciprocal admiration that characterize the bond between our cricketing nations.”

“Our enthusiastic cricket enthusiasts and the citizens of Pakistan eagerly anticipate the return of the New Zealand team, anticipating another fiercely contested series that forms an integral component of our preparations for this year’s ICC T20 World Cup.”

All five matches of the T20I series will start at 7:00pm (PST).

“The PCB has ensured that ticket prices for the series remain within reach for all cricket enthusiasts. Stay tuned for further updates on ticket sales,” the statement from the PCB mentioned.
