National cricketer and Pakistan Super League (PSL) team Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan says that in my opinion Imad Wasim should be in the World Cup because he is a world-class all-rounder.
Talking to Geo News, Shadab Khan said that Imad Wasim has always done well, he was always trusted, his CPL experience can be useful for the team in West Indies, just like Imad in the pressure match. Playing it shows their mental maturity.
Shadab Khan said that every player has a different mood, it has to be handled accordingly and as a captain it is important to understand the mood of the players.
Continuing his talk, Shadab Khan said that I try to handle the player according to his mood, one has to take form from someone with love, one has to take form from someone by scolding, but I used to get angry. I am quite relaxed now.
Shadab Khan said that the player workload should be done by the main player and the team management together, but our country’s players are reluctant to rest.
He said that sometimes a substitute player would make a star in a match which would make another player worry about his place. There must be trust.
All-rounder Shadab Khan says that some players get better if fed more and some have to be fed by watching.
Shadab Khan said that the reasons for not being able to form in the World Cup and Asia Cup have been understood, there were some technical issues of the action which I am working on and I am going towards improvement, I want the form as soon as possible. I will get.
He said that as a player I should have done a better form, my body was not right in action, which was causing injuries, the weight was not where it should be.
Continuing his speech, Shadab Khan said that this is the lesson I have learned in life that results are definitely obtained from hard work and process, so I am sure that I will make a comeback with my performance.
Regarding the final of PSL 9, Shadab Khan said that in the final I also want to give form on pitching and bowling, I consider myself a complete all-rounder, even if there is no bowling, I can win with batting.
He said that Islamabad United’s journey to PSL 9 had a lot of ups and downs, we did not have a good start but the team gained momentum at the crucial moment, the way they played in the last four matches raised our spirits.
Shadab Khan said that the Multan team is playing the fourth final in a row, they are a good team, we still haven’t played our best cricket but our players are coming out of difficult situations and winning matches which is encouraging.
