Alex Hales will not be Able to Play Islamabad United against Peshawar Zalmi: In the upcoming clash against Peshawar Zalmi on Monday, Islamabad United’s opener, Alex Hales, will be absent due to a prior personal commitment. The English star is expected to make a return for the remaining matches, commencing with the second leg in Karachi.

Currently occupying the third position on the PSL 9 points table, Islamabad United has secured one victory in three matches. The ongoing premier cricketing event is spread across four cities – Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi – culminating in the final at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi on March 18. The tournament, featuring six teams, comprises a total of 34 T20 matches.

Throughout the competition, Karachi will host 11 matches, including the Qualifier, two Eliminators, and the final. Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi will each host nine matches, while Multan will witness five matches.

Following the format of the previous edition, the ninth installment of the PSL unfolds in two legs. From February 17 to 27, matches will take place at Multan Cricket Stadium and Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, featuring a total of 14 matches.

The cricketing action will then transition to Rawalpindi’s Pindi Cricket Stadium and Karachi’s National Bank Stadium, hosting 16 matches from February 28 to March 12. The tournament will conclude in Karachi with the playoffs.
