Peshawar Zalmi head coach Darren Sammy has said that I am sure that Babar Azam is the best leader.
While giving a press conference in Karachi in the ongoing PSL 9 , Darren Sammy said that we reduced 15 to 20 runs on this wicket, we gave Islamabad a chance to come back after the first 10 overs, after that the target of 200 was set in mind.
He said that it was not the traditional cricket of Peshawar Zalmi, Imad Wasim and Haider Ali played a very good innings, we made mistakes in bowling, there was a lack of continuity.
Darren Sammy says that if we don’t win trophies then there is no point in playing playoffs every year, winning one trophy in 9 playoffs is not enough, we should have won more finals.
The head coach of Peshawar Zalmi further said that he is very happy about the return of cricket in Pakistan. Hopefully, there will be a big chance in Karachi in the final.
It should be noted that in Eliminator 2 of Pakistan Super League PSL 9, Islamabad United defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 5 wickets and qualified for the final.
In the match played at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi, Islamabad United won the toss and invited Peshawar Zalmi to bat. Zalmi scored 185 runs for 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Islamabad United successfully chased down the target and completed the target in the 19th over.
Islamabad United team will face Multan Sultans in the final.
