Yo Gotti’s Brother Fatally Shot: In a tragic turn of events, Anthony “Big Jook” Mims, the brother of renowned rapper Yo Gotti, has been fatally shot at Perignons Restaurant on Winchester Road in Memphis, as confirmed by various sources.

Reports indicate that the incident occurred in the vicinity of the restaurant, leading to both Yo Gotti’s brother and another individual sustaining critical gunshot wounds when authorities arrived on the scene.

Tragically, Mims was declared dead, while the other victim remains in critical condition.

In a statement from Memphis Police (MPD), at least five reliable sources have verified the shooting outside Perignons Restaurant and Event Center on the 6300 block of Winchester Road.

The investigation was initiated by law enforcement around 4:15 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024. According to the MPD, one of the victims was rushed to St. Francis Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The second victim, transported by private vehicle, is currently in critical condition at the same hospital.

Authorities suspect that the two men were intentionally targeted in the shooting. Despite possessing surveillance footage of the incident, the police have yet to identify the suspect.

This heartbreaking incident has left the Memphis community mourning the loss of Anthony “Big Jook” Mims, a figure deeply connected to the city’s cultural scene and the brother of the well-known rapper Yo Gotti.
